Why personnel assessment?
Personnel assessments are included in all services at MPS. Through assessments the employer gets additional information on the individuals working style, personal features, competence and motivational factors. This is important when predicting the individuals’ success for the position as well as the suitability for the organisation in question. The assessments also benefit the person being assessed, since it will contribute to the success in the new surroundings. Assessments can also be used to support the needs within an organisation: evaluation of competencies and development needs, personnel planning, career planning and guidance as well as change and development situations within the organisation.
Personnel assessment at MPS
The assessment day at MPS includes an interview with the consultant and various tests. The methods MPS uses for personnel assessment are systematic and scientifically reliable. MPS personnel assessments are always tailored according to the requirements and criteria of the position in question and the special features of the organisation employing the individual. Prior to meeting the applicants, the MPS consultant familiarizes her-/himself with the surroundings and the requirements of the position.
Your rights
Participating in a personnel assessment is voluntary. The individual is entitled to get feedback from the consultant that has interviewed him/her. We do not give out information regarding the assignment to any third party without the applicants’ permission. Information regarding the individual and all the material related to the personnel assessment will be processed in a strictly confidential way. MPS is required by law to keep the assessment material on file for a minimum of 24 months. After this, we will keep the basic information on file only with the applicants’ permission.
The intention of the assessment day is also to aid the individual in getting to know him-/herself a little better: the working style, behavioural patterns, strengths and development areas as an employee.
With an open mind the applicant can best utilize this opportunity to increase his/her self-knowledge!
